Thanks to all for coming out to our State Energy Advisory Board networking event. And thanks to BERC for assisting with planning and organizing.

The Wells Fargo room at Haas School of Business was an excellent space for the event. The views from the Haas Wells Fargo room porch of the setting sun behind the Berkeley Campanile, the food, the wine, and the company certainly were all a great way to round out a long day touring LBL for the STEAB board.
For those that made it, thanks for your participation. For those that didn't, here are a few photos of the event. We hope to see you at an event in the future.

What is STEAB?

The State Energy Advisory Board (STEAB) offers a forum for the exchange of ideas and information through which Federal, State, and local voices can be heard at the Department of Energy. STEAB advises the Department of Energy on operations of its Federal grant programs and develops recommendations regarding initiation, design, evaluation, and implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy programs, policies, and technologies. STEAB also makes recommendations to the Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) with a specific focus on technology transfer and State issues.

The Board is comprised of State energy directors, Weatherization directors, other State officials, representatives of State and local interests, and recognized experts in energy-related disciplines. STEAB serves as a liaison between individual States and the Department of Energy with regard to energy efficiency and renewable energy programs.

Agenda

The entire STEAB board is expected to be present. Two representatives of STEAB will introduce the board and discuss STEAB projects and initiatives. A representatives from CEN and BERC will also briefly talk. The discussion will be followed by questions and ample time to network.
