KJARTAN JANSEN
 
Kjartan is a Principal and Investment Professional with Expansion Capital Partners, a Clean Technology Venture Capital Firm. He has been with the Firm over six years and serves on the Fund's Investment Committee.
Prior experience includes Equity Research at Piper Jaffray and that of a Consultant at Scient.
 
He holds an MA in Applied Economics from the University of Michigan, and a BA in Economics from the University of Bergen, Norway.
 
JESSE TEICHMAN
 
Jesse is a business development analyst at Chevron Technology Ventures, where he focuses on emerging renewable energy technologies, markets and public policy. He has worked in the cleantech space for 10 years, beginning as a project manager with GE Jenbacher. He also served as a product manager for Clean Air Power, a San Diego concern developing technology for emissions reduction and the conversion of diesel engines for natural gas operation. During business school, Jesse interned with Expansion Capital Partners, an expansion-stage venture capital firm committed solely to cleantech investments. Jesse also performed consulting work in the utility industry, with emphasis on energy efficiency and demand response.
 
Jesse has a BS in Marine Engineering from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and an MBA in finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He lives in Oakland with his wife, Rachel, and their daughter Nina. Jesse is an avid fan of the San Francisco Giants and Denver Broncos, and is fluent in German.
 
NICK ALLEN
 
Nick works as a consultant to the clean energy industry and its investors with Edge Innovation Partners. Formerly he headed Morgan Stanley's equity research efforts in clean energy where his focus spanned the power and transportation industries including the solar, wind, efficiency, smart grid, emission reduction and advanced energy storage markets.  Nick has held a similar roles in financial services with ThinkEquity Partners and Keefe, Bruyette & Woods.

Nick holds a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
